School Health Advocate of the Year & #CelebrateSchoolNurses Highlight a Busy End to 22/23
Congratulations graduates! From our team to every student, family, teacher, school nurse and Goodside Health partner, thank you for an incredible 22/23 School Year!
May isn’t the end of the school year for everyone, and there was so much Good News, we’re not sure we want the month to end quite yet, either!
After all, we announced the inaugural School Health Advocate of the Year, closed out the #CelebrateSchoolNurses campaign, raised awareness for mental health, celebrated Asian Pacific American Heritage Month and much, much more.
Before we turn the page, here’s one more look back at the Good News from May. (Don’t forget to bookmark the Good News page for regular updates!)

Your SchoolMed Monthly Insight
Sore throat towered above the rest of the top diagnoses for SchoolMed patients in 2022/23. Cold symptoms, fever, headaches, and nausea vomiting rounded out the top-five reasons for a virtual visit.
While visits by diagnosis type differed a bit from the previous school year – SchoolMed saw a significant overall increase in visits that was driven by the benefits of school-based care experienced across our partner schools – we also saw an increase in visits for diagnosis like lice, pink eye, and rash, among others.
SchoolMed is designed to help you care for each of the most common conditions you see on campus. Contact us and let’s see if the school-based acute care, mental health care, and well care solutions from Goodside Health are the right fit for your campus community.
