We are excited to partner with your district to bring on-demand telehealth services to your school!

Through our partnership, your child can be tested and treated for Strep, Flu, and COVID-19 as well as sore throat, headache, skin rash, pink eye, upset stomach and the common cold.

Our Whole-Child approach even allows children to receive age appropriate mental health screenings with parental consent. We have translation services available and can treat all students and staff regardless of residency or insurance status with most visits delivered at little to no cost to families.

Parents can also be included in the telehealth visit without having to leave work!

Our whole-child approach allows children to receive age appropriate mental health screenings with parental consent!

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a cost to use this service?

Most visits will be delivered at little to no cost to the families.

All Texas Medicaid plans are accepted and most visits for students with active Medicaid are no out of pocket cost to families.

Goodside Health is in-network with most major plans (BCBS, UHC, Cigna, Aetna, Humana, etc.) and TRICARE. Telemedicine visits for your child typically cost the same as a visit to a medical clinic. The visit will be billed to your child’s insurance company.

If you’re uninsured, we offer a discounted rate of $50 for the service. For families where $50 is not affordable, you may be eligible for our free care program.

What if my child needs a higher level of care?

If deemed necessary, your child can be referred to a specialist, emergency room, or primary care physician for continued care. Virtual care providers are trained to assess the child’s condition quickly and will triage them to the appropriate level of care as needed.

Can my other children be treated by Goodside Health if they aren’t enrolled in the district?

This service is open to district students and their friends and family. Goodside Health is available to all ages and can be accessed from home on any smartphone, tablet, or computer. However, to have your child treated in school, you must register your child in advance via the registration forms above. Visit www.goodsidehealth.com for more information.

Can my child be seen by Goodside Health in the evenings or on weekends?

Yes! Goodside Health is a partner with Virtual Care for Families and they are open every day (including weekends) from 8am–9pm. Your child can receive care through your smartphone or computer within minutes from wherever you are.
